Frogs
There are some 200 different species of frogs in Australia, these include Tree Frogs, Ground Frogs, Narrow-mouthed Frogs, True Frogs, True Toads and the Cane Toad was introduced during the 1930's.
All frogs have strong rear legs, which are long in leapers and swimmers and shorter in burrowers. Like all amphibians, frogs have three stages of development: egg, larva and adult.

A frog's skin is a fascinating organ! Frogs breath in through their lungs, they also get oxygen out of the water that passes into their body through their skin. Carbon dioxide is expelled as the water passes back out.
